Minogain 2.5mg, containing the active ingredient minoxidil, is primarily used to treat severe high blood pressure (hypertension) when other medications are ineffective. It also has an off-label use, meaning it's not officially approved for this purpose by the FDA, for promoting hair growth in individuals with male or female pattern baldness. While topical minoxidil is more commonly used for hair growth, oral forms like Minogain can be used for this purpose as well.
