1. Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD): A condition where stomach acid flows back into the food pipe (esophagus), causing heartburn and irritation.

The typical adult dosage for rabeprazole sodium and domperidone capsules is one capsule once or twice daily, taken on an empty stomach about 30-60 minutes before a meal

1. Heart Conditions: The domperidone component may increase the risk of irregular heart rhythms (serious arrhythmias, QTc prolongation), especially in patients over 60 or those with pre-existing heart conditions, electrolyte disturbances, or heart failure. Inform your doctor immediately if you experience palpitations, dizziness, or fainting.
2. Liver and Kidney Disease: Use with caution in patients with kidney impairment, and it is generally contraindicated in those with moderate to severe liver disease.
3. Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: The medication is generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless the potential benefits outweigh the risks, as domperidone passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor.
4. Stomach Tumours: The use of this medicine may mask the symptoms of gastric cancer, so inform your doctor if you have any severe stomach pain or blood in your stool.
5. Driving and Machinery: The capsules may cause dizziness or somnolence; avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until you know how the medication affects your alertness.
